Baron's
Hall and the Well House are situated in the "Climping Strategic Gap",
the last undeveloped stretch of beach between Brighton and Bognor Regis on
the English south coast. The West Beach Sand Dunes are an area of Special
Scientific Interest and the house itself has pretty rural views over the surrounding
countryside.
Climping
Street is a no through road giving access only to the beach (half mile)
and the world renowned "Baillifs Court Hotel". "The Black
Horse" (formerly "The Smugger's Inn") traditional pub is
just 2 minutes level walk and "The Oyster Cathcher" pub and
restaurant is 5 miutes walk.

Arundel:
The beautiful medieval cathedral town of Arundel is just 4 miles away to the
north. Arundel is steeped in history boasting the famous castle and a specatluar
cathedral. Enjoy the many pubs and restaurants, antique shops, Swan Lake and
the National Trust Wildlife Reserve. A summer visit to Arundel is not complete
without a trip to the Black Rabbit pub on the River Arun.
Chichester:
A Roman City again renowned for it's historical buildings. Chichester has
one of the country's foremost regional theatres, the Festival Theatre, which
attracts national and international stage and screen stars all year round.
Roman villa sites can be visited nearby.
Littlehampton:
The small seaside town and port of Littlehampton retains all the charm of
a traditional victorian resort. Enjoy speciality fish restaurants, and the
long stretch of Littlehampton beach and coast line. A popular spot for windsurfers
and kite surfers.
